Jamie, born in Stoke-on-Trent and now based in Manchester, has been immersed in creativity since childhood, with fond memories of sketching footballers and magazine figures alongside his Grandad. While portraiture initially defined his early artistic journey, his studies in Graphic Communication at university revealed a new path: graphic design. This transition opened the door to a passion for abstract landscapes, offering a balance between creative freedom and the meticulous precision that design demands.

Jamie’s work is deeply inspired by his own sunset photography, blending instinctive brushstrokes with explorations of vivid colour. His abstract landscapes blur the lines between form and abstraction, evolving organically without a pre-determined destination. By incorporating textured clay and building layers of acrylic detail, each piece unfolds through an intuitive process, culminating only when it feels complete. His art captures the harmony between deliberate craftsmanship and spontaneous expression, inviting the viewer into a world where boundaries between the abstract and the real dissolve.
