Chloe Cox is a leading British artist, currently based in Manchester. Commissioned by His Majesty King Charles, the Windrush Commemoration Committee, and English Heritage, Chloe’s work has achieved national and international acclaim.

Her achievements include winning the Emerson Award for Young Woman Artist (2022), SAA Young Artist of the Year Award (2022, 2020), and multiple appearances on the BBC – including the soon-to-come season 4 of BBC’s Extraordinary Portraits.

As an oil painter of Caribbean heritage, her work is driven by a passion to represent the underrepresented – particularly those in ethnic minority communities. Her hyperrealism style aims to capture the essence and likeness of her sitters for centuries to come, so that her sitters may feel a true sense of belonging in history, arts, and culture.
